1. What is this store's return and exchange policy?

Damaged orders may be exchanged at our expense. If your order has been damaged during delivery, please contact themightymitten@gmail.com

2. Where does this store ship from?

Beautiful Ann Arbor, Michigan! (Almost always. In the summer we also occasionally ship from Frankfort, MI or Charlevoix, MI)

3. Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

Yes we do! We have shipped Michigan artwork to Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany - even as far away as Australia and Taiwan.

Please allow an extra 2-3 weeks for international delivery.

4. How long will it take to receive my order?

Most prints are made to order, which is typically a 1-3 day process. Once shipped, most domestic orders take 2 -3 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. Most orders ship within 5 business days.

5. Is there a way to save on shipping if I'm local?

Yes! If you live in Ann Arbor you can select the "Local Delivery" option during checkout. We will either deliver your order to your door personally or let you know when you can come pick it up from us.

​

NOTE: The first option does not work with some apartment buildings.

6. How do I pay for my order? Is it secure?

Our checkout process uses both Stripe and PayPal, one of the most trusted online payment solutions on the web. Because of this, The Mighty Mitten has all the same securities and payment fraud protection as Stripe or PayPal.com. Before entering any personal credit card information, you will be transferred to Stripe or PayPal's secure servers. PayPal accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club. You may also make payments using your bank account, but this may delay your order.

7. Who makes your art?

All of our vintage-style travel posters are designed and illustrated by Ann Arbor-based artist Brian Walline. Brian also produces the decal stickers, greeting cards, and wood art. Our custom metal art and printed apparel is designed by Brian, but we rely on various artisans around the state to produce them.

8. What are your prints like?

Our products are super high-quality giclee prints produced by a state of the art printer using top quality, archival UltraChrome HDR Inks. The paper is also archival and is bright white, with a nice, thick feel. The colors are very bright, and all prints have at least 1" white border for framing.

​

"Archival" means that if you display your print under glass it should remain bright and colorful for a very, very long time!

9. Will you ever do a print for "Town X"?

Probably!  :-)  Brian has a long list of amazing and worthy Michigan towns and landmarks and he is working hard to bring as many of them to life as possible.

10. Do you accept custom commissions?

Absolutely :-)  I can customize any of my pieces (Changing colors, adding or changing text, etc.) and can usually accommodate special size requests.

 

As for creating a fully custom piece for you, such as a rendering of your home, cottage, boat, etc., the answer is also yes and you can learn about that process here.

11. Can you do different sizes than what is shown?

Probably! We can reformat and print MOST (not all) of Brian's illustrations in practically any size/shape up to 24"x36", including horizontal or square formats. Just email us and ask :-)

12. Where can I buy?

The very best place to buy Mighty Mitten products is right here at themightymitten.com! This is the only spot where you will find absolutely every size & variation of every product we create.  

 

However, if you're eager to purchase in person you can find prints by The Mighty Mitten at many fine shops throughout the state. Full list available at our "Where to Buy" page.

You can also meet us in person at one of the many art shows we attend in Michigan throughout the year.
